RN-BSN Application Requirements
If you are interesting in pursuing the RN-BSN degree, please see the RN-BSN section for admission and application requirements and forms.
Application Requirements
The minimum application requirements to be considered for provisional admission into the BSN Full-Time Student Track at Methodist College of Nursing are:
- Thirty (30) semester hours from the required pre-requisite general education list of classes must be completed with a minimum GPA of 2.5 prior to submitting an application for admission;
- Submission of the application for admission and application fee ($35);
- Submission of official transcripts from each college/university;
- Standardized proficiency exams will be accepted to meet general education requirements.
Students who meet the application deadline and meet the application requirements above are considered for provisional admission. Provisionally admitted students are required to complete all the required general education credits with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and additional admission requirements before starting classes at Methodist College of Nursing.
Please remember that the application minimums listed above are just that - minimum requirements. Meeting these requirements in no way guarantees provisional or actual admission to the college. Methodist College of Nursing accepts approximately 40 students per semester, so the competition for admission is high.
