Fall 2008 Graduation Information

Here are the details as of today.

A dress rehearsal for the graduation ceremony is scheduled for Friday, December 12th at 11am.  Dress reheasal should last at least 1 1/2 hours, but it is scheduled for 2 hours.  Pizza and soda will be provided.  This rehearsal is when we will go over specifics of the graduation ceremony, (i.e., when to stand, where to sit, etc). 

We will have a photographer available at the rehearsal and the actual ceremony.  Pam Siefken has been used by the college in the past two semesters, and you can go to her website at  http://peoriacolor.com/Galleries/FindGallery.asp?Photographer=PamSiefken and click on the Methodist College of Nursing Spring 2008 photos.

The graduation ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th at 10am in room 106.  Each student will receive 9 tickets for room 106.  The tickets will be provided to you at the dress rehearsal. 

Room 103/104 will be set up as an overflow room for additonal guests at the graduation ceremony.  Seating in this area does not require a ticket.

Graduation announcements, class rings, and your cap and gowns are ordered online through Jostens.  You will need to have a credit card ready to place your orders for these items.  Each individual order will take two weeks plus two to three days for shipping to the home addresses.  The announcements will be custom manufactured with the graduates name as part of the text.

Jostens site is http://college.jostens.com/jostens/index.jsp .  Once you are on this site, please enter Methodist College of Nursing.  This will take you to the items available for our graduation.  Cap and gown are required for you to participate in the graduation ceremony.
