Academic Support Center (ASC)

The ASC at MCON strives to leave no student behind and fully believes in the potential that so many students possess within themselves to succeed and excel in the nursing field. We make a commitment to work with students in all areas, providing personal and academic support - just one of the many ways in which we walk with them down their road to success. All students have an ongoing opportunity to take advantage of high-quality one-on-one help or participate in any of several support courses and/or workshops offered throughout each semester. The ASC at MCON offers services and support in an array of areas, including: assessment of learning needs, study skills and time management, reading comprehension and critical thinking, biological and physical sciences, mathematics, communication and writing skills, behavioral sciences, and core nursing content.
