Work/Life (Employee Assistance Program) reaches out to employees, spouses, and dependents to help them deal with the pressures and changes of life both in the workplace and at home. Confidential, professional counseling and/or referral for further assistance is available for employees and eligible family members.

The Methodist Work/Life Program helps you deal with work and personal issues that can affect job performance or throw your personal life off track. Work/Life services are confidential and are designed to meet your individual needs. These services include:

Consultation on specific workplace problems and how to solve them
- Assessment, evaluation and referral for behavioral health problems
- 24-hour crisis access
- On-site anxiety and depression screenings
- Substance abuse screenings and treatment referral
- Individual counseling sessions
- Access to Methodist’s comprehensive Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Care Center
All employees and their immediate family members, which includes spouse and dependent children to age 19 (25 if a full-time student) may receive up to five (5) free counseling sessions per calendar year.
